Run Logon Scripts Synchronously (Windows NT/2000/XP)

This setting controls whether the system should wait for the logon scripts to complete before starting the users shell or whether the scripts should run asynchronously.

Open your registry and find the key below.

Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value called 'RunLogonScriptSync' using the settings below.

Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.

Note: This restriction can be used either on a user by user basis by adding it to HKEY_CURRENT_USER or on a computer wide basis by adding it to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
